David Sadker is an author, professor emeritus, and facilitator who teaches and writes in Tucson, Arizona. Working with educators, social workers, lawyers, political and business leaders, medical and spiritual communities, David employs poetry, storytelling, music, art, reflection and mindfulness in his Courage & Renewal® circles. In these trusting circles, individuals can bring their role and soul into greater harmony, and reignite their life’s purpose. Dr. Sadker also leads groups exploring the aging (and sage-ing) process, ways to reinvigorate our democracy, and approaches to eliminating gender discrimination.

David has authored 8 books and numerous articles and chapters. His work has been reported in hundreds of newspapers and magazines including The New York Times and The London Times. He has appeared on numerous television and radio shows, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and National Public Radio’s All Things Considered. Dr. Sadker has degrees from CCNY, Harvard University, and the University of Massachusetts, and is professor emeritus at The American University (Washington, DC). In 2012, David was selected as one of “Nine Most Influential Actors in Title IX History” by The American Civil Liberties Union. David has been awarded two honorary doctorates, and was selected as a torchbearer in the 2002 Olympics.
